This is random and teeny-tiny but my promise to you is that I’ll always share when I find something that actually makes my life better or easier (even in small ways) so here’s we are!
The girls and I are staying at my parents’ house for the summer and we needed new paint brushes for the easel — which we’ve been taking outside. 10/10 recommend.
I randomly bought this pack of Micador Early Start Paint Brushes ($11) because they were cute and on Prime, and I had no idea they would have such a positive impact on our crafty time together as a family.
Full honesty, I usually set up the easel when I’m tapped out and need the girls to be happy playing something on their own for a few minutes so I can send emails or make a grocery list without interruption. That never actually happens. My little one hates to get her hands dirty and always needs help with her paintbrushes or wiping her hands….until now!
Something about these easy-hold bubble handles makes manipulating the Micado brushes so super-simple for my kids. I’ve never seen them so independent while painting before (and craft-time has never been so peaceful).
This isn’t an ad, you can completely ignore this post if you aren’t the crafty family type, but if you’re struggling with little ones who constantly need their hands wipes or brushes dipped, give these a try. They’re affordable and made a huge difference for us.
