Quick! Snap a cute photo of your kiddos & send out some holiday cards. Today I'm sharing 4 easy Christmas card photos you can take yourself. They're simple, fast and they'll look like you hired a professional...even if you're taking them on your phone.
I don't have the time or extra $$$ this year to hire a photographer. Who cares!? These 4 Christmas card photo ideas are easy enough for even the most amateur photo-taker to master on their phone.
Simple & Sparkly
Tape a roll of metallic wrapping paper to the edge of your crib or wall, letting the paper roll out on the floor making a swoop. Add Christmas lights. Dress baby in cozy pajamas. Add a hat and/or greenery for a little something extra!
2. COZY ON THE COUCH
Use self-timer if you'd like to get in the shot. Line the couch with cozy blankets. Dress baby up in pajamas and add a festive headband, like this silly mistletoe one from Flying Tiger.
3. STORY-TIME SNAP
You may have seen on my Instagram that we're starting a "12 Books of Christmas" holiday tradition! Take a photo of your little bookworm. Put colorful poster board on the floor. Grab a book. Let them play!
4. COZY & COLORFUL
Similar to the first idea, tape craft paper to the wall so it swoops out onto the floor. Add cozy blankets and pillows. Put baby in his or her warmest, softest clothes and take a few photos. The craft paper is much larger that the wrapping paper, so they have room to move around and/or add a sibling if you have multiple littles to feature on your card!
I hope this is helpful!. I'd love to see some of your holiday cards! Please shoot me a message on Instagram or comment below. I'm sure you just have the cutest faces to show off!
Anyway, here's a little video I made walking through each idea and showing you when happened when I let the internet pick our card...gah!!!
