My mom’s the queen of Valentine’s Day. I remember being a teenager waking up to a strawberry-yogurt parfait and a new eyeshadow palette from Sephora thinking, “this is the best thing ever!” I hope I can make Valentine’s Day a special celebration for my girls, too. I’m down to skip the commercialized romance and, instead, make the holiday all about treating the gals to something fun and frivolous. I guess you could say I’m more of a “galentine” than a valentine.
So with that in mind, here are a few things I’ve saved in my notes app to buy for myself and my daughters this year….
I love matching outfits. These pajamas from Maison Me come in infant, kids and adult sizes, so I will definitely snag those for us. The Briar Baby bonnet also comes in infant-to-big-kid sizes if you’re looking for more matchy-matchy gifts. The Queen of Hearts sunglasses, too!
Other favorites: I’m obsessed with the whole two-tone knitwear trend happening this year, so the colorblock kids’ sweater and Staud sweater dress are really speaking to me.
I know these Ce Co handbags are designed for children but I think they are so chic and I would 100% use one myself (in fact, I want to write a whole post about kids’ accessories for grown-ups).
On a slightly sillier note, I’ve somehow found myself on the Tarot Card and Reiki side of TikTok, my For Your page is loaded with healers and readers so a set of adorable, pink Tarot Cards seems like the perfect treat. Have you ever had your cards read? I’m so curious!
If you’re interested in more Valentine’s Day gift ideas, I’ve compile a whole list over on my Amazon page. Here’s the link. Head on over for some special finds you could add to your next order. Happy Valentine’s and Galentine’s Day to all you lovely ladies xo Erin
